Despite being worth $400 million already, Janice Bryant Howroyd is the founder and CEO of $950 million company, ActOne Group. The group hopes to realise $3 billion revenue by next year.
She opened the business which provides workforce solutions including temporary staffing in Los Angeles in 1978 with $1,500 including a $900 loan from her mother, a fax machine and a phone.
The agency has more than 17,000 clients and 2,600 employees in 19 countries and with her family, she owns several dozen properties including commercial rental properties and residences.
