So much history has been retold and discovered in 2018. The important aspect of it all is the fact that black history took over and was made relevant to current affairs such as Black Panther, The Royal Wedding and Black History Month among others.
Day in and out, several new stories of the rich African past is brought to light to educate and remind the black race of the power they had and still have, as well as, the barriers their ancestors broke to make it possible for the end of delicate problems such as slavery, Jim Crow and severe racism.
