Ayodele Fayose
Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, has been immortalized in a satirical internet meme in which he is seen crying about being in severe pain. That is to say, when Fayose broke down in tears while facing prosecution for embezzlement of state funds and vote rigging, many thought he was shedding crocodile tears.
Fayose wore a neck brace, alleging that he was “shot at” by police and called on the “international community” to help him. Helps to say that when legal pressure subsided, Fayose fared much better in health.
