Nat King Cole

Nat King Cole was not big on the Civil Rights movement like Ray Charles. He couldn’t care less about all the raucous surrounding it and was more than willing to perform for segregated audiences early on.

People weren’t having it and most people started calling him an Uncle Tom. It was then that he realized the errors of his ways and joined other black performers who wouldn’t perform for segregated crowds.
