These revolutionaries attended the 1st Pan-African Congress in Paris 100 yrs ago

Ida Gibbs Hunt, teacher, Pan-Africanist and civil rights leader, was also present at the 1919 Pan-African Congress. She was the wife of William Henry Hunt and a longtime friend of W. E. B. Du Bois. She was an advocate of racial and gender equality, and co-founded one of the first YWCAs in Washington, D.C. for African-Americans.
