Mmuso Potsane and Maxwell Boko – MmusoMaxwell
In 2017, Mmuso Potsane and Maxwell Boko were featured in Vogue Italy in an interview sharing their inspiration for teaming up to start a fashion brand focused on women’s clothing. The two young men who both studied fashion design in university met during a David Tlale fashion intern program and decided to team up and create their own label,
MmusoMaxwell in 2016. Since 2017, the duo has showcased their works at various fashion shows across the continent and styles. Beyonce wore their green Navy short jumpsuit that featured bougie cut details showing off the singer’s good skin and expressing the label’s aim at making women feel sophisticated and sexy with a touch of class.
