Her ‘racist’ book gift
Last year, a librarian rejected ten Dr Seuss books Melania presented to the Cambridgeport School in Cambridge, Mass., to mark “National Read a Book Day.”
The librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro said the illustrations of the book are “steeped in racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes.”
The librarian thanked the first lady for the books but told her the school would not be keeping them.
