The Gladys Knight & the Pips album, written and produced by Curtis Mayfield is the soundtrack album for the 1974 20th Century Fox motion picture Claudine, starring James Earl Jones and Diahann Carroll. The album was released in March 1974 on the Buddah label. Curtis produced three legendary soundtracks: Superfly, Sparkle and Claudine, which he wrote and produced for Gladys Knight & the Pips. They did tremendously well on the Billboard charts at the time while the film was also loved.
