The American aerospace and defense company is the largest defense contractor in the world. In 2017, it made $44.9 billion in arms and defense contracts, almost twice the amount of arms sales at Boeing. More than $35 billion of the company’s arms sales in 2017 came from the U.S. government. Lockheed Martin makes military aircrafts, including the F-16, F-22, and F-35 fighter jets, as well as, ships, sonar technologies, ships, and missiles used by the Navy, said 24/7 Wall St.
