Top 10 companies profiting big time from deadly wars

Boeing

The American aircraft manufacturing company is the second largest defense contractor in the world, making $26.9 billion in arms sales in 2017. According to SIPRI, a chunk of the company’s revenue comes from commercial aircraft such as the 737, 747, 767, 777, and 787 families. In 2017, it completed 763 commercial aircraft deliveries which was termed an industry record. Other major defense contracts in 2017 included the manufacturing of 27 P-8 Poseidon aircraft, 36 advanced F-15 fighters, and 268 Apache helicopters.

Total sales: $93.4 billion
Profit: $8.2 billion
Employees: 153,000
