At 94 per cent literacy levels in 2011, Namibia has one of the highest numbers of literate women. Women aged 15-24 have a literacy rate of 90.8 per cent compared to 83.2 per cent for men as of 2007. Recently in the country, there has been increased enrolment of adults in literacy programs.
