NEW YORK, NY — The African Cultural Evening is a function to showcase the diversity and beauty of the African Culture, recognize the cultural awareness of African Youths and acknowledge the exemplary of African Leaders.

Scheduled on March 1, 2013 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at Mason Hall, Baruch College (Lexington Avenue & 23rd Street), the African Cultural Evening will feature various cultural facets of a selected group of countries through Live Plays, Music, Poetry, Art and much more.
 
This event will serve also as the venue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the African Union while raising awareness of the perils of Female Genital Mutilation on the welfare our daughters, sisters and mothers in prelude of the International Day of Women.
 
The African diaspora community and the public at large are invited to this unique event with the ambition to uphold the African culture and increase the touristic attractiveness of African countries.
