Darceal Gates made the day of a Wisconsin couple who thought he was celebrity Rick Ross. Gates posted the video on Instagram with the caption,  “She’s from Wisconsin, her and her husband thought I was Rick Ross so I played the part, lmfao.”

According to Complex, he was on vacation in Cancun when the woman, Hannah, stopped him. “She just spotted me, Rick Ross,” he expressed in the video.

Gates also urged Hannah to perform her rendition of Rick Ross‘ ad-lib. “Huh! Can you say that for the camera? She just thought she seen Rick Ross so I wanted to give her a little picture and everything. Shoutout Hannah and her husband.”

Later, he posted a TikTok showing him eating breakfast with Hannah, and he revealed that she figured out he wasn’t Rozay. “I’m here with one of my groupies. Aye, Hannah’s great peoples. There goes the wifey right there. When you wake up in the morning and realize that wasn’t Rick Ross.”

Some of his followers shared in his humor and made comments like: “LMFAO that happened to me on my boat Cruz these snow bunnies thought I was Devin booker.”

One other said, “One time in Vegas these England people thought I was Albert pujols tools pictures with them & everything I still wonder if they ever figured that one out.”

Another joked, “When you come back, I want an autograph!!”

According to Hiphopdx, the real Rick Ross, on the other hand, has planned to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, one of the world’s largest mountains.

With his trainer at his side, he was seen working out to prepare for his 2024 objective.

He said while jogging, “I mentioned on the podcast last year we was climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s official: early 2024, it’s going down.”

“[We’re getting in the] best shape of our lives [for this]. Promise I won’t fall out on you muthafuckas. Promise. And guess what? I swear Imma wear my watch and if I pull that pin on it, in one hour that helicopter will be there for us.”
