Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, a Georgia healthcare worker, was arrested after a viral TikTok video showed her dancing suggestively on the head of a disabled patient.
Loganville Police Chief M.D. Lowry said in a news release that the 19-year-old Loganville resident is now facing one felony count of exploitation of a disabled person.
Koiyan is alleged to be the healthcare worker in blue scrubs who shared a TikTok video in which she seems to twerk on the head of a male patient sitting in a chair.
A different video from the same account shows someone who looks like Koiyan putting something in another male patient’s mouth while twerking on top of the head of the patient as he sits in a bathtub.
Lowry said that once Loganville police learned of the video on January 23, they carried out a search warrant on January 28 and took Koiyan into custody. Koiyan was then booked into the Walton County Jail.
Koiyan was released on bond early on Wednesday, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s office, which verified this to People.
According to Atlanta Newsfirst, Koiyan later responded to the situation with another video saying, “Okay TikTok right now, it’s a video going viral of me ‘the healthcare worker that’s dancing on top of her patient’s head.‘ It’s not what it is. All I got to say for now is angles play a big part. A lot of people in the comments talking sexual assault. Umm rape…non-verbal. You gotta trust and believe he’s verbal. And if he’s not verbal to his kins then I don’t know what’s going on over there but around here he be verbal.”
Meanwhile, her video has since received backlash from netizens, with some calling the situation “elder abuse.”
