Tammy Edwards
Tammy Edwards is the vice president of community development and strategic engagements and director of the office of minority and women inclusion for the seven states of the Tenth Federal Reserve District in Kansas City, Missouri.
Edwards previously worked at Sprint Corporation where she held various leadership roles.
Edwards tells rollingout, “It’s important for women of color to be in leadership roles because of the diverse skills and perspectives we bring to the table.” “Organizations that maximize diversity in all forms and embrace inclusion have better outcomes and impact.”
Edwards credits being “confidence in who I am”, “the ability to help others without neglecting myself,” and “tenacity” as attributes that make her leadership unique.
Edwards is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s of business administration in finance.
