Fufu with soup

A very popular dish in Ghana, fufu is usually prepared by mixing and pounding boiled cassava and green plantain. It is mostly eaten with light soup, groundnut soup or palm nut soup with chicken, meat and/or seafood.

A ritual among certain households, fufu is typically eaten on Sundays. Those who assist with the pounding are usually rewarded with extra meat/fish! And hey be prepared to eat with your fingers.
