Zanele Ndlovu had her arm bitten off by a crocodile while canoeing in the Zambezi river

Her arm was bitten off by a crocodile while canoeing down the Zambezi river with her fiance some few days to her wedding, but that did not stop her from tying the knot in an incredible wedding ceremony.

The former tennis player Zanele Ndlovu married her fiance, Jamie Fox in the hospital where she was receiving treatment five days after the horrible incident.

Ndlovu and her fiancé were canoeing on the Zambezi, one of Africa’s longest rivers on April 30 when a crocodile attacked them.

“They were in an inflatable boat, and the crocodile attacked their vessel and in the process deflated it, before attacking her,” a family friend was quoted by news site Daily Mail.

“During the attack, the crocodile gripped her arm and ripped it off while her partner made frantic efforts to save her,” the family friend added.

Ndlovu was taken to the hospital where the arm had to be amputated.

Their plan was to marry by the Victoria Falls on Saturday but instead had to use the chapel at the Mater Dei Hospital in Zimbabwe’s second city, Bulawayo, for the wedding.

Here’s a Youtube video showing when they tied the knot:

Meanwhile, in Uganda, a hunt is on for a leopard that snatched a three-year-old boy from his family at a safari park and ate him.

The child was being looked after by a nanny in an unfenced staff quarter at the Queen Elizabeth National Park when he was attacked.

His remains were found the next day in the bush and the leopard is now being hunted.

This attack comes just a week after a lion mauled a British safari park owner in South Africa.
