4 mouthwatering meals you shouldn’t miss whenever you are in Lesotho

The Kingdom of Lesotho was previously under the British Crown Colony of Basutoland until declared independent from the United Kingdom on this day in 1966. 

Now a sovereign state and a member of the United Nations, Commonwealth of Nations and the Southern African Development Community, it is under the leadership of a monarch, King Letse III.

Located in the  South of Africa, it has a population of 2 million. The Kingdom of Lesotho is made up of mostly highlands where some of their villages can be reached only on horseback, foot or aircraft.

Due to the harsh environment, there is limited agricultural produce from that part of the continent. Its food culture features potatoes, seafood, rice, and vegetables, including corn-based dishes.
