They will enjoy exceptional delectable dishes from various African Restaurants and chefs including Lenox Saphire, Buka, Madiba, Farafina Café and Lounge, Le Souk Harem and more. Produced by Panla and a Taste of Africa USA, two leading culinary event companies reinventing the way African food is consumed and discovered, this special event will feature a buffet style menu, Afro-pop, Afrobeats music and a global crowd. The event will kick-off inside the DL (95 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002 by Ludlow) at 2.30pm with happy hour specials till 4pm. This rendezvous will feature music by DJ Fols and DJ Take bringing some of the best of African music. Guests will be given a chance to win complimentary goodies.

Part of the proceeds of this event will benefit AKSA partners a non-profit organization that helps student athletes in Senegal secure scholarships to various universities around the world.

Immediately following the day event, The DL we will commence the After-Party to be held at Meridian 23 (161 W.23rd St by 6th and 7th ave). DJ SM and DJ E’Love will keep you on the dance floor all night with some of the top hits from Africa and around the world – promises to be loads of fun. Another wonderful opportunity to celebrate any special occasion with friends.
