Alfred Nickson grew up in relatively deprived conditions in the inner cities of Miami. He was on welfare and has today defied all odds to become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in America. From welfare, Nickson is now one of the youngest millionaires in network marketing in the U.S. He became a millionaire by age 25.

He started his journey in network marketing when he was only 19 years old. Within three years, he became a six-figure earner and one of the top earners in the company, a very impressive feat for any entrepreneur of his age.

Nickson believes he has always had the gift of a salesman and so his sharp rise to making a million-dollar was never in doubt. “I am a connector to helping people achieve not only what they want, but what they need,” he said in an interview.

When Nickson first made a million dollars, the first thing he did was to invest in the church. For him, he couldn’t have achieved whatever he has in life today without divine intervention. “The first thing I did was invest in my church. Everything I have comes from the grace of God. My faith and religion are extremely important to me, so sowing back into the church has been essential as I continue to gain wealth,” he said.

Aside from investing in the church, Nickson is also a family man. His mother and dad were a big motivation for him as he struggled through life to create a niche for himself. He has since retired his mom. “My mother and father sacrificed a lot, so making sure my family was OK was a top priority. Lastly, I bought a home and my dream car. I work extremely hard, so I wanted to treat myself, as well,” the 28-year-old said.

Nickson now spends most of his time coaching and teaching others about financial literacy, having built his own brand of over 100,000 followers. He has helped so many people transition from nine-to-five jobs to becoming their own boss.

“I’m encouraging people to reach their full potential and get set free from living paycheck to paycheck,” he said. “My job is to bring the absolute best out of a person. It isn’t so much as encouraging people to leave their nine-to-five jobs but encouraging them to follow their dreams and to create multiple streams of income. In this economy, it is important that people have different streams of revenue.”

Nickson counts himself lucky to have been mentored by successful entrepreneurs who taught him various wealth principles. He feels it was incumbent on him to also teach others to also become successful after creating a system that works.

For upcoming marketers, Nickson’s advice is never to give up. “Find a mentor and become a student of your profession,” he added.
