In a recent episode of his YouTube news network series Double G News, Snoop Dogg revealed that though his wife had a horse for three years and liked riding it “for her peace of mind”, he never got close to the mammal because he has equinophobia – which is the fear of horses.

Per PEOPLE, Eritrean-American comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish joined the veteran rapper for the September 12 episode. Snoop Dogg, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., touched on his fear of the mammal when Haddish revealed she had a childhood desire to raise horses on a farm.

“What? As big as you are?” the Night School actress asked Snoop. “To this day, too,” the Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper replied. “I don’t know why I’m just f—— scared of them.”

When Haddish, 43, asked Snoop if he was serious, the 51-year-old replied in the affirmative. “So serious. You ain’t never seen me in a scene with a horse. I’ve been in a scene with ostriches, iguanas, all kinds of s—,” he said. “Ain’t never been in a scene with a horse, like, get that motherf––––– away from me. I don’t know why!”

“Maybe in your past life you fell off a horse,” Haddish hinted. Snoop responded on a lighter note, saying, “I think I may have been the Headless Horseman [in my past life].” The character Snoop referred to is a mythical figure who rides a horse without his head.

And though the rapper can’t tell the reason behind his fear of horses, he said he still understands the value of the mammals. He also said he doesn’t mind overcoming that phobia.

“I understand what a horse means to people,” he told Haddish. “Maybe one day somebody can introduce me to a baby horse. … A little jackass or something that I can learn how to be around.”
