This Friday, May 3rd, Face2face Africa will host the spring edition of its signature series, “I am a professional African” Networking Mixer. Join New York City professionals for an evening of networking, mingling, and dancing.
During each quarterly edition, Face2face Africa selects an individual or organization that is making an impact in the community and acknowledges their work with the IAAPA Award. Raising HOPE Foundation has been selected to receive the spring edition IAAPA Award for their dedication to providing a hopeful future for orphans in Ghana and other parts of Africa. Founders, Ellen and Andrea Osei will be receiving the award on behalf of the foundation.
“Raising HOPE is humbled to have been nominated for this year’s IAAPA award. We are honored to be recognized amongst our fellow professional African colleagues, and would like to continue to motivate, inspire, and serve as role models in the African Diaspora,” said Ellen osei.
Join us on may 3rd at the Empire Room from 6pm-11pm as we acknowledge the work of this passionate organization that is working to enhance the quality of life for orphans in Africa. Advance registration is highly recommended as space is limited.
Face2face Africa will also officially announce the distinguished honorees for the 2013 F.A.C.E List Awards, which celebrates the achievements of pan-African movers and shakers. The awards is scheduled for June 15th at the Times Center. Tickets will be available following the announcement at the mixer on May 3rd.
