The 2018 Oscar nominations for the upcoming 90th annual awards ceremony was announced on January 23, 2018. Tiffany Haddish – the breakout comedian of 2017 was joined by Andy Serkis and Academy President John Bailey to disclose the nominees.
In true Face2Face Africa style, we’d like to highlight the Black artists who earned accolades. Not so surprising, we counted 11 black nominees out of the 181 people nominated for the prestigious awards. #OscarsSoWhite? We think so!
