Some of Forbes Africa's 30 Under 30 in Business 2018

Africa is the youngest continent in the world. The continent’s people also face some of the most pressing issues in the world – extreme poverty, poor governance, extreme weather, high unemployment, among many others. As such, its youth bulge and the accompanying human capital has the potential to catalyze and ignite the continent’s development.

Young people who are able to identify the continent’s changes and address them through business position themselves to not only make a tremendous impact but to take home great financial gains.

This year’s Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 in Business provides us with a glimpse of what young people are doing on the continent. From real estate, financial services, manufacturing, media, tech, green tech, agriculture and fashion, young African entrepreneurs are combining human and natural resources to create innovative and disruptive companies.

Researched by a small team and vetted by a panel of expert A-list judges, Forbes’ pick of Africa’s most entrepreneurial talents have definitely earned their claim to fame.

Take a look at this year’s Forbes 30 African entrepreneurs shaping their countries and inevitably the continent. Your next business idea may come from here.
