The second edition of the Pan-African Women Forum took place yesterday at the Metropolitan West, NYC, bringing together women of African descent to engage in life-changing and inspiring dialogues.
The event featured trailblazing women including Sherrexcia “Rexy” Rolle (Vice President, Western Air Limited – Bahamas), Yodit Tewolde (TV Commentator, Legal Analyst, Attorney), Tiffaney Malott (Entrepreneur & Transformational Speaker), Dr Yetunde Odugbesan-Omede (Educator & Author), Millen Happiness Magese (Model & Humanitarian) and Tamika Stembridge, Esq. (Executive Director of the dfree® Global Foundation).
As part of the Pan-African Weekend that celebrates, connects, and empowers the black diaspora community through networking, dialogue, culture, and more, the women forum is changing the narrative on women of African descent worldwide.
From the forum, it was clear that black women are not only dreaming big but are also transforming their lives and that of other women from all over the world.
“I don’t believe black women are changing the black narrative, I believe we are changing the world’s narrative,” – @TiffaneyMalott #PAW18 #ChangingOurStory #WhatsYourStory
