This Lusophone film set in the 1980s follows the lives of two teenage sisters who find themselves in exile at Lisbon, Portugal after escaping their war-torn country, Angola. To make ends meet, they depend on unlawful jobs which in turn makes them a decent living, and they begin to learn that their circumstances do not determine their future, and perhaps they do have a say in what is ahead.
