Snub: Will Smith
Last year, Smith won the Globe for best performance by an actor in a motion picture – drama for King Richard. This year, he was not nominated for his role in Emancipation where he played a real-life runaway slave who fights in the Civil War. His actions at the recent Academy Awards could be the reason. Smith was banned from the Academy Awards for hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars after the latter made a joke about his wife.
