Party: Democrat

Office: Governor of Maryland

Jealous is the former president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

In May 2017, Jealous began his campaign for Governor of Maryland and won the Democratic seat in June 2018, according to Ebony.

Jealous is in line to be Maryland’s first black Governor.
