Political tensions are pretty thick in the United States. The current president has instituted policies that seem to fare well for a certain population while alienating the majority.

Being that the current administration is Republican, that is the ruling party in Congress as of now, that is a problem for many because it is particularly known for not identifying with the plights of the disenfranchised but rather perpetuating statutes that serve the well-off one per cent of the population.

All the same, there are some candidates who dare to question the status quo and implement much-needed change and aim to relate to the American people on a broad level not just those in their preferred party.
