5 African-American celebrities who should consider running for president in 2020

With the next presidential election around the corner, many are anxious for a drastic change in administration.

Numerous people did not expect the current president to win; nonetheless, here we are. Consequently, many changes instituted by the government have not fared well with a majority of the population, mostly people of colour and immigrants. Then there is the blatant display of hate that many believe is directly attributed to the rhetoric and attitudes displayed by President Donald Trump.

These changes have seen the rise of black activists, including celebrities, who have voiced their protests at how black people and other minorities are being treated.  Some of them look quite qualified to be the leader of one of the world’s powerful countries.

Below is a list of 5 celebrities who should consider running for the 2020 presidency:
