South Africa and Swaziland land dispute
In 2017, the current ruler of Swaziland, King Mswati III alleged that some land in South Africa and Mozambique, in fact, belonged to his nation.
The Border Determination Special Committee (BDSC) confirmed on March 24, 2017, that portions of South Africa were obtained during the colonial rule of the British in the 1840s.
Though the former rulers of Swaziland didn’t agree to give any land away nor lose any wars against the British, the land somehow became part of their neighboring countries.
The BDSC confirmed that there was a draft agreement in place to solve the dispute, as reported by All Africa.
