According to his bio on Wikipedia, Clarence is the current South African record holder in the 200 meters, with a time of 19.69 and is ranked 10th in the world 200 meters and the 11th in the world for the 300 meters. He competed in the men’s 200 meters at the 2016 Summer Olympics and finished 3rd in his heat with a time of 20.66 seconds, though he did not qualify for the semifinals.
Clarence has an identical twin, Terrence, who does not do any sports. In spite of being on his way to achieving global stardom in athletics, Clarence nurses hopes of venturing into businesses and other things as a form of insurance for life after the track.
