Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Liverpool and the Egypt national team. He is considered one of the best players in the world and is known for his skill and speed.

Salah represented Egypt in the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Later that year, he debuted for the senior national team. Following his performances at the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was named CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year.

Salah was named CAF African Footballer of the Year, BBC African Footballer of the Year, and was selected in the CAF Team of the Year and Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament all in 2018. He has played for teams like El Mokawloon, Basel, Chelsea, Fiorentina (on loan) and Roma (on loan) and is one of the highest-earning sportsmen in the world.
