Being killed while worshipping
It wasn’t enough that Dylann Roof posted a manifesto on his website detailing how he wanted to “ignite a race war,” he actually went out and shot 15 black members of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on June 17, 2015, in Charleston, South Carolina. Nine churchgoers died. Afterwards, Roof was apprehended by law enforcement in a civil manner even getting the chance to stop by McDonald’s for a meal. No big deal right? Well, countless black men and women have been shot and killed by civilians and law enforcement for doing much less than committing murder.
