EMERSON BOOZER

Known to be naturally athletic, Boozer came to the attention of football coaches at Lucy Craft Laney High School in Georgia. Despite his talents, scholarship eluded him as football scholarships weren’t offered to Blacks. He, however, excelled at college level showing open field ability as well as strength and intensity.

With an impressive career with the New York Jets, Boozer scored 52 touchdowns, winning a host of awards including the Super Bowl championship.
