Assiko

Assiko is a style of dance performed by the Bassa people of Cameroon.  Nevertheless, it has spread throughout West Africa.

Dancers isolate the waste and gyrate the hips while wearing a t-shirt on the top part of the body and cloth on the bottom.

A thick band of additional cloth around the waist accents the dance move.
