Kudzanai Chiurai (Zimbabwean)

Known for his unique and provocative paintings, drawings, films, sculptures, and photographs, 35-year-old Kudzanai Chiurai was forced into exile in 2004 after he exhibited two controversial artworks depicting Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe as a demon. He was the first black student to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the University of Pretoria. Some of his artworks include Rau Rau, Battle of Zimbabwe, and Graceland.
