Clotilda

The Clotilda is the last known ship to carry slaves from Africa to the United States.

The ship disembarked in Mobile, Alabama in July 1860 with 110 slaves.

The Clotilda also arrived in Whydah, formerly the Kingdom of Whydah located off the coast of the Republic of Benin and captured the Tarkbar people in Tamale, Ghana.
