Bitland- Ghana

Operating from Kumasi, Ghana, Bitland is a verified and easily accessible online service that provides proper survey, recording and tracking of land deeds. To tackle the outstanding land issue that Ghana is facing, the online platform was created to provide services to individuals to prevent illegal land transactions.

The blockchain-based initiative was started in 2014 and has since expanded in the country, working with everyday people as well as high-end real estate companies. The initiative aims at expanding its reach in Africa by 2019.
