1964 – Anonymous couple vrs Florida court
In 1964 an anonymous interracial couple from Florida went to court to challenge the laws that prevented blacks and whites from having sexual relations or cohabitating which were unconstitutional. The couple, who preferred to remain anonymous stirred up much debate in the USA. The case went back and forth, and the couple persisted until the Supreme Court declared that laws that prevented interracial cohabitation were illegal.
