Deng Adel
Adel currently plays for Cleveland Cavaliers. Born in Juba under what is now called South Sudan, Adel and his family fled war-torn Sudan and moved to Uganda where they emigrated to Australia all at the age of 8.
Introduced to basketball in 2012, he has grown through the ranks in Australia before landing a rare $20,000 basketball scholarship to Victory Rock Prep in Bradenton, Florida.
