A six-year old girl, Ugwoezuonu Ogechi Zara has become a major topic of discussion in Nigeria after achieving a perfect score in the National Mathematics Competition for primary students.
Her flawless performance in the competition left members of the Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN) deeply impressed, and awarded her a scholarship valued at nearly $13,000 to further her education at Evergreen College in Enugu State, covering the next six years.
The announcement of Zara’s remarkable achievement was made by Alex Onyia, CEO of Educare and an education activist, who expressed his amazement at her brilliance in the competition.
Onyia also shared the details of her reward on social media, emphasizing the significance of nurturing young talents like Zara.
