Bunny Chow — Lavender and Lovage

Bunny Chow

Known as Bunny for short, this popular South African fast food believed to have originated from Durban is made from bread and a curry. The bread is usually a loaf hollowed out and filled with the curry. The curries are made as per preference. Some of these curries are made with chicken, beef, lamb, vegetables or with whichever preferred ingredients or condiments. Bunny chow is served in fast food joints and by street food vendors all over South Africa.
