Madagascar

In spite of its rich natural resources, Madagascar is one of the world’s poorest countries. But the economy has grown in the last few years owing to investments in finance and export.

Whatever little has come for the people has not been distributed evenly. About 10% of the country is responsible for 50% of pre-tax income, while 75% of the population live on less than $2 a day.
