Black Cowboys
Keeping the CCD love going, this is a special project by Dom Flemons, an African-Mexican-American from Arizona who was one of the three original founders. He envisioned this as a way of shining light on the true history of black cowboys during America’s expansion from the East coast to the Pacific ocean. In this video, Dom tells the amazing story of the first black U.S. Marshall before singing a song dedicated to his memory.
