A businessperson, Frank M. Clark has been the head of six different companies and is President & Director at The Chicago Board of Education, Member of The Economic Club of Chicago, Member of The Chicago Bar Association and Member of The Commercial Club of Chicago and on the board of nine other companies.

He has held various positions at the company, ranging from governmental and community affairs to distribution services and marketing, according to Black Enterprise, cementing his reputation as one of the most versatile leaders in the energy sector.

He was drafted in 1967 and served two years in the U.S. Army, including a year in Vietnam. 

In the past, Clark held the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Exelon Corp. and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Commonwealth Edison Co. (a subsidiary of Exelon Corp.), Chairman at BMO Harris Bank, NA, Non-Executive Chairman of BMO Financial Corp. and Chairman at The Chicago Community Trust.

He received an undergraduate degree from DePaul University and a graduate degree from DePaul University College of Law.

He currently serves on the boards of Waste Management Inc. and Aetna Inc.
