Though rumors have been swirling about basketball stars A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo being romantically involved, the pair have been largely coy about their relationship. But it appears those rumors can now be put to bed as Wilson, 28, seemingly confirmed they’re indeed dating.
The Las Vegas Aces star and WNBA MVP confirmed their romance when she was asked about her plans for Valentine’s Day during the All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, PEOPLE reported.
“My plans are here at NBA All-Star,” Wilson stated. “My NBA All-Star [Adebayo] is not here,” she added. Adebayo, who plays for the Miami Heat, did not earn an NBA All-Star team call-up this year.

Despite the couple being apart on Valentine’s Day, Wilson said the All-Star break had given Adebayo, 27, the opportunity to get the “rest he needs.” “And that’s the best Valentine gift that I can truly give him, is just the rest,” she added.
During the interview, Wilson was also asked about Adebayo wearing her signature Nike A’One sneakers when the Heat squared off against the Brooklyn Nets on January 25.

“It was super dope. It was a moment,” Wilson said about Adebayo’s gesture, adding that he “really wanted to be at the forefront of pushing my shoes.” The 28-year-old also said she was excited about Adebayo wearing her signature sneakers as they’ve had a friendship “for years.”
“If I have to put it out in the NBA, why not have someone like Bam Adebayo, who’s just a good person all around, to kind of showcase my shoes, so I was thankful he was able to wear it,” she explained.
The couple was last spotted during a date night in Beverly Hills on January 14, TMZ reported. They were seen exiting the Mediterranean and Italian restaurant, Novikov.
