Hit Me Hard and Soft, Billie Eilish’s third studio album arrived on Friday, May 17, 2024, and already gaining some good reviews.

The 10-track project is said to be produced by the singer’s brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas. The recording comes after her 2021 compilation titled Happier Than Ever. Before his, she released When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go in 2019.

Hit Me Hard and Soft has songs like Skinny, Lunch, Chihiro, Bird of a Feather, Wildflower, The Greatest and many more. The songs reflect the experiences of early-stage relationships, breakups, sexuality and self-confidence.

The album is described as the pop star’s “most varied, mature album” so far. Billie did not release any singles ahead of the album but it will be recalled that she teased fans with aspects of the project at the Coachella Music Festival early in April this year.

With the project landing safely, Billie Eilish will embark on a marathon of tours to promote the new album. The singer announced the tour dates last month ahead of the album release.

The tour, which will run until 2025, is scheduled to begin on September 29, 2024, at the Centre Videotron in Quebec, Canada. It will later move through North America and cities, including Toronto, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, and several other locations.

The 2024 leg of the tour will end on December 17, 2024, at the KIA Forum in Inglewood, Canada, before it picks up again later in February 2025. Ticket pre-sale for the tour, as posted on the singer’s website, ended on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, while the general sale commenced on May 3, 2024.
