Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel Leroy Jackson is an actor and film producer. Initially, he intended on pursuing a degree in marine biology when he was in Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. After joining a local acting group to earn extra points in a class, Jackson found an interest in acting and switched his major.
He is one of the most critically acclaimed actors in the world and has numerous accolades and awards for his works in film which collectively have the highest total gross revenue for any actor. He plays the character of Nick Fury in the Avengers franchise.
In 2001, the character of Nick Fury was remodelled from a white man with short cropped hair into the likeness of Samuel L Jackson. In 2008, Jackson played the character in a post-credit scene of Iron Man and has played it in other movies since then.
