In case you missed it, Seretse Ian Khama stepped down as president of Botswana after ten years in office. He officially handed over rulership of the diamond-rich Southern African country to his then Vice-President Mokgweetsi Eric Masisi on Saturday, March 31.

In a video circulating on social media, Khama can be seen showing his dancing skills on stage at what appears to be a sendoff service. Looks like he was looking forward to retirement and is surely going to enjoy every bit of his time outside office. Isn’t he a bit of inspiration for many African leaders who refuse to step down when their time is up?
